Privacy Policy

Effective September 21, 2026

This policy explains what information Shyft6 LLC collects, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. We are a workforce services firm: moving candidate and client information between the people who need to see it is the core of what we do, and this policy is written to describe that plainly.

01

Who this policy covers

This Privacy Policy applies to information collected by Shyft6 LLC, a Florida limited liability company (“Shyft6,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), through shyft6.com, our careers and application pages, our chat, email, phone, and text-message channels, and any other interaction that links to this policy (together, the “Services”). It covers:

  • Visitors who browse our website or use our chat widget;
  • Job seekers and candidates who apply for a role, submit a resume, join our talent network, are referred to us, or whom we identify through sourcing;
  • Business contacts at current and prospective clients, suppliers, and partners.

By using the Services or providing information to us, you acknowledge the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services or submit information to us.

This policy does not govern information we handle solely on behalf of a client under that client’s instructions and its own privacy notice, or the personnel records of Shyft6 employees, which are covered by internal notices. If a separate written agreement or notice we give you conflicts with this policy, that agreement or notice controls.

02

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact and identity details— name, email address, phone number, mailing address, employer, job title.
  • Candidate information— resume or CV, work history, education, skills, licenses and certifications, references, desired pay and current or past compensation where lawful to collect, availability, shift and location preferences, work authorization status, interview notes, assessment results, and anything else you include in an application or share with a recruiter.
  • Onboarding and placement information— if you move forward for a role, information needed for onboarding, credentialing, payroll, and compliance, such as government identifiers, tax forms, banking details for direct deposit, background-check and drug-screen results, immunization or health records required for a worksite, and emergency contacts. We collect these with separate notices and authorizations where the law requires them.
  • Voluntary demographic information— such as race, ethnicity, gender, veteran status, or disability status, where you choose to provide it for equal-opportunity reporting. Providing it is optional and it is not used to make hiring decisions.
  • Communications— the content of emails, chat conversations, text messages, voicemails, form submissions, and call or meeting notes.

Information collected automatically

  • IP address and approximate location derived from it, device and browser type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, links clicked, and the dates and times of visits;
  • Cookie and similar identifiers set by us and by our analytics and chat providers (see Cookies, analytics, and chat);
  • Email engagement data, such as whether a message was opened or a link was clicked.

Information from other sources

  • Job boards, resume databases, professional networking sites, and other publicly available or licensed sources we use to find candidates;
  • Referrals, references, former employers, schools, and licensing or credentialing bodies;
  • Staffing suppliers, vendors, and clients who submit or share candidate or worker information with us;
  • Background-check, drug-screening, and verification providers, where you have authorized the check;
  • Data enrichment, marketing, and lead-generation providers, and our affiliated companies.

We may combine information from all of these sources into a single profile.

03

How we use information

We use the information we collect for our business and commercial purposes, including to:

  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Services and our business;
  • Recruit, evaluate, screen, match, submit, place, onboard, pay, and manage candidates and workers, for the role you applied to and for any other current or future opportunity with Shyft6, our affiliates, or our clients;
  • Build and maintain a talent network, and contact you about roles, events, and services we think may interest you;
  • Respond to inquiries, provide proposals, and deliver services to clients, suppliers, and partners;
  • Send administrative, transactional, and marketing communications by email, phone, text message, chat, and other channels, subject to your choices and applicable law;
  • Perform analytics, reporting, benchmarking, research, and product development, including developing, testing, and improving software, workflows, and automated tools;
  • Create de-identified or aggregated information, which we may use and disclose for any lawful purpose without restriction;
  • Verify identity and credentials, prevent fraud and misuse, and protect the rights, safety, and property of Shyft6, our clients, our workers, and others;
  • Comply with legal, regulatory, tax, audit, contractual, and record-keeping obligations, and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims;
  • Evaluate or carry out a merger, financing, sale, reorganization, or other corporate transaction;
  • Carry out any other purpose described to you when the information is collected, or that is reasonably related to the purposes above.
04

How we share information

We may disclose information to the following categories of recipients:

  • Clients and prospective employers.We share candidate and worker information with clients and their authorized representatives (including managed-service and vendor-management providers acting for them) to present you for opportunities, support interviews and hiring decisions, and manage assignments. Once a client receives your information, the client’s own privacy practices govern its use.
  • Affiliates. Companies that control, are controlled by, or are under common ownership or control with Shyft6, including talent and hiring platforms they operate, which may use the information consistent with this policy.
  • Suppliers and staffing partners. Staffing suppliers, subcontractors, and recruiting partners that participate in programs we manage.
  • Service providers. Vendors that perform services for us, such as applicant-tracking and CRM systems, chat and communications tools, cloud hosting, analytics, payroll and benefits administration, background screening and credential verification, e-signature, professional advisors, and IT and security providers.
  • Analytics and advertising partners. Providers whose cookies and similar technologies operate on our website, as described below.
  • Parties to a corporate transaction. A buyer, investor, lender, or successor, and their advisors, in connection with an actual or contemplated merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of our business or assets. Information we hold may be among the assets transferred.
  • Authorities and other third parties. When we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to comply with law, legal process, or a government request; to enforce our agreements; to investigate or prevent fraud, security incidents, or harm; or to protect the rights, safety, or property of any person.
  • Others at your direction or with your consent.

We do not sell personal information to data brokers, and we do not disclose it to unaffiliated third parties for their own independent marketing. We are compensated by clients for recruiting and workforce services, which necessarily involves sharing candidate information with them as described above.

05

Job seekers and candidates

If you apply for a role, send us a resume, join our talent network, or otherwise engage with a Shyft6 recruiter, you understand and agree that:

  • We may consider you for, and contact you about, any role we or our clients are filling, now or in the future, not only the role you applied to;
  • We may share your information with clients, affiliates, and participating suppliers in connection with those opportunities. Where practical, a recruiter will speak with you before formally submitting you to a specific client role;
  • We may keep your profile in our talent database after a search ends, whether or not you were placed, so we can match you to future opportunities, until you ask us to remove it (see Your choices and rights);
  • We may supplement your profile with information from references, public sources, and third-party providers;
  • The role you are considered for may be with a Shyft6 client rather than with Shyft6, and that client, not Shyft6, makes its own hiring decisions;
  • Background checks, drug screens, and similar verifications are run only with the disclosures and authorizations required by law, which you will receive separately.

Our online application pages are hosted by a third-party applicant-tracking provider. Information you submit there is collected on our behalf and handled under this policy; the provider’s own terms and privacy notice also apply to your use of its platform.

Shyft6 is an equal opportunity employer. We do not use personal information to discriminate unlawfully against any applicant or worker.

06

Automated tools and AI

We use software, including tools that rely on machine learning and artificial intelligence, to help run our business. For example, we may use these tools to parse resumes, organize and search candidate profiles, suggest matches between candidates and roles, draft and schedule communications, transcribe and summarize conversations, and analyze program performance. Some of these tools are provided by third parties that process information on our behalf.

These tools support our recruiters and staff; decisions about whether to advance, submit, or place a candidate involve human review. If you would like more information about how a tool was used in connection with your candidacy, or to request an alternative process or accommodation where the law provides one, contact us at inquiries@shyft6.com.

07

Cookies, analytics, and chat

Our website uses cookies, pixels, scripts, and similar technologies, some of them placed by third parties, to make the site work, remember preferences, measure traffic, understand how visitors use the site, and support our marketing. At present these include:

  • Google Analytics, which collects usage information through cookies. You can learn how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
  • Zoho SalesIQ, which powers the chat widget. It records visit activity (such as pages viewed, referring site, and approximate location) and the content of chat conversations, and may associate them with contact details you provide.

We may add, remove, or change providers, including advertising and social-media measurement tools, from time to time.

Chat and session recording. By using the chat widget or continuing to browse the site, you acknowledge and consent to Shyft6 and its service providers collecting, recording, and storing your chat messages and your interactions with the site, in real time, for the purposes described in this policy. If you do not agree, do not use the chat widget, and use your browser settings to block cookies and scripts.

Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies; doing so may affect how the site functions. Our site does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals.

08

Text messaging

If you give us your mobile number and consent to receive text messages, we may text you about job opportunities, applications, interviews, onboarding, scheduling, assignments, and related matters. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of applying for or obtaining any role. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Notwithstanding anything else in this policy, we do not share mobile phone numbers collected for text messaging, or text-messaging opt-in data and consent, with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We share this information only with service providers that help us deliver messages, such as messaging platforms and carriers.

09

Retention

We keep information for as long as we have a business or legal reason to do so. For candidates, that generally means for as long as we maintain a talent network and you have not asked us to remove your profile, plus any period needed to meet record-keeping obligations, resolve disputes, or defend legal claims. Records relating to applications, placements, payroll, and compliance may be retained for the periods required or permitted by law even after a deletion request. De-identified and aggregated information may be retained indefinitely.

10

Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information appropriate to its sensitivity. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive information, such as Social Security numbers or bank details, through the website chat, the contact form, or ordinary email; we will give you a secure method when that information is needed.

11

Your choices and rights

  • Marketing email. Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or contact us. We may still send you non-promotional messages about an application, assignment, or business relationship.
  • Text messages. Reply STOP at any time.
  • Your candidate profile. You may ask us to update your information, stop considering you for opportunities, or remove your profile from our talent database.
  • Cookies. Use your browser settings and the opt-out tools described above.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional legal rights, such as the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information, to opt out of certain disclosures or uses, or to appeal a decision we make about your request. To make a request, email inquiries@shyft6.com with your name, the email address or phone number you used with us, your state or country of residence, and what you are asking for. We will verify your identity before acting, will respond as required by the law that applies to you, and will not discriminate against you for making a request. Some information may be exempt from these requests, including information we must keep to comply with law or to defend legal claims, and information we process on behalf of a client, in which case we may refer you to that client.

12

Children

The Services are intended for adults in a business and employment context. They are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

13

Visitors outside the U.S.

Shyft6 is based in the United States and the Services are intended for people in the United States. If you use the Services from another country, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate, whose data-protection laws may differ from those where you live.

14

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy at any time. When we do, we will post the revised version here and change the effective date above. Changes take effect when posted unless we state otherwise, and the updated policy applies to information we already hold as well as information collected afterward, to the extent the law permits. If a change materially affects how we use information previously collected from you, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Please review this page periodically.
